A national magazine "BUILDER" praised Hess Home Builders for their innovative and energy efficient passive solar designs in 1978. Hess was featured in "BUILDER-ARCHITECT" in March of 1986, May of 1995, and again in June of 2001. Hess Home Builders was named "Builder of the Year" by the Building Industry Association in 1993.
